Tamarac has 386 homes. About half its residents live here year-round with the other half dividing their time between here and a second home. Several homes border on the beautiful Baypointe Golf Course.
Why would you want to live anywhere else? Our monthly maintenance fee of $162 covers water, sewage, lawn care (watering and mowing), garbage pick-up, painting of our homes, paving of our streets and our pool is maintained at a comfortable 82 degrees. When you don't have to worry about mowing, fertilizing, weeds and insects, and when you don't have to paint or water you are free to enjoy the many activities offered to residents. The pool is open to 10 pm daily.
Residents are active in planning the many activities offered at our clubhouse. Residents receive a monthly newsletter. We are a one property, one vote form of government where all are equals. Our board is made up of residents and our cost are low due to the bidding process.
During the morning and afternoon hours you will see residents walking the neighborhood, stopping to visit with neighbors and exercising their pets. Even the timid and shy will find it hard to be a recluse in Tamarac.
